ALW

The large and ergonomic one

We have placed great value, with the ALW, on creating a seated workstation with plenty of legroom, allowing the user to work in a relaxed and ergonomic position. This means that work can be carried out over longer periods of time without the user becoming tired, providing thus for full concentration on the welding task at hand. By means of the adjustable foot plate it can be made to fit the individual proportions of each user. The patented multifunctional foot pedal allows the laser parameters to be set or corrected as required for welding.

The ALW is equipped with a big work-surface for the positioning and movement of the workpiece. The joystick for axis movement can be fixed anywhere on the work-surface. The high-responsiveness of the system allows the axes to follow the joystick movement directly and exactly.

Workpieces of up to 350 kg are processed quickly and precisely on 3 axes(x, y, z), either manually with joystick, semi-automatic with preset axis speed or in fully automatic mode (WINLaserNC software).

Just as up to now the ALW 100 / 150 was used increasingly for repair and deposit welding on tools and moulds.

The new ALW vario 200 / 300 meets the increased demands of industries and trades-people to carry out ambitious welding jobs on materials such as Aluminium, precious metals, Titanium and sensitive alloys. Such jobs are in increasing demand, and in such areas the advantages of Alpha Laser’s new resonator concept become visible.

The laser is in an enclosed laser secure casing which makes the ALW to a Laser Class 1 machine, making it possible to use in a normal production environment without additional safety measures

An optional tiltable turntable is obtainable for welding cylindrical workpieces.

The ALW vario is available in the following power range:100 W, 150 W, 200 W and 300 W

Areas of use:

The many strengths of the ALW are demonstrated particularly in work involving repair welding and manufacture of tools and moulds, welding of demanding material, manufacture of medical components and sensors, as well as in precision technology, and in sheet metal works.
